Jacob is a Lubbock native who graduated with honors in Finance from Texas Tech Rawls College of Business and went on to earn his J.D. at Texas Tech School of Law. Jacob previously worked in other areas of the law including Personal Injury, Municipal and Administrative Law before finding his true passion in Estate Planning and Elder Law after joining NZA in 2023. He is licensed to practice in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.

Kortney Hassell is a Certified Paralegal. She is a graduate of Tarleton State University and holds both a B.A. in Criminal Justice and an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies. Kortney joined NZA's Estate Administration Team in April of 2024.

Laura joined NZA in 2015. She plays a pivotal role in managing the flow of information from our clients to our legal teams to ensure that our attorneys are well-prepared to have productive consultations, and that our clients have the best possible experience.
