Jennifer Shafer

Jennifer grew up in southwest New Mexico and graduated from New Mexico State University with a degree in Elementary Education. Her husband's Air Force service took them to Mississippi, Nebraska, and back to New Mexico. Jennifer taught in schools in each state but spent most of the next eighteen years raising her two sons. She served several years as the Luna County Extension Family Consumer Science/4-H Agent and earned her master's in agriculture & Extension Education. Jennifer and her husband recently moved to Lubbock, and she enjoys walking her dog, reading, and spending time with family.
